Angels on sunset boulevard

Angels on Sunset Boulevard

TAP.com began as a website for everyone to share and meet new people; much like a blog. That’s where Johnny Silver started out with posting up his songs for others to download. Soon these had become a huge hit and he found himself becoming the world’s soon-to-be biggest rock star. On the night of his anticipated debut concert, he mysteriously disappeared in front of millions of people. Taj, his close friend sets out to find the answers behind his abrupt disappearance. Her search crosses path with those of Nick Huntington, a preppie whose sister had also gone missing. Their search led them to the website which began it all; TAP.com - The Angel’s Practice. At the exclusive parties hosted by TAP’s founder, there is said to be a drink served in the back room which tap into otherworldly sensations. Nick is sure that the website and the drink is connected to the disappearances and is keen to unlock its secrets. Little does he know that Taj has a secret too and is not who he thinks she is…

The story was fast-paced and exhilarating as it swapped perspectives with the two main characters between each chapter. It took on a darker side of situations; talking about the drink as if it was an addictive drug, the themes revolving the activities within the back room, and the allegiance to a cult and the horrible things being done if an individual decided to quit. Nonetheless, still an enjoyable read.

Hi, Stephie:

This book sounds intriguing. It seems to have a series of subplots which always adds interests.

Great review as always!
