Hi,
This is the last week for blog, this summer.
Unfortunately, it was not as successful as last year.
1. What would you like to see instead for next year's reading club?
2. Would you like it to be a different format, like Facebook?
3. Would you prefer a meeting in the library, instead?
4. What kind of program would you like for next summer?
5. Final question about programming: Is there a program you wish the library would offer for teens?
Thanks.
Catherine and Andrea
P.S. one survey entry will be drawn for a prize.

1. I would like to see more contests in where its just not finding the answers by searcing but rather you go to a specific website and find hints and clues. What I am trying to say is that more games and contests where it just more than just searing it in sites. Also for a while I thought I was the only blogger with the branch moniters since no other participants wrote anything. I would want more bloggers.
2. Personally, I like blogger.com better than Facebook. It’s more private and easy to use and interact with.
3. Meeting in the library will be good but then for me if its far, I can’t make it. And if we make it each branch has meeting for themselves, its time waste since there are only a few participants for each branch. Also having blogger much more faster too, since you could instantly post you comments and book reviews whenever you want.
4. I think the summer reading club is just fine.
5. I can’t think of any now.
1. It would be great if there was more discussion going on in the blog. There are very few users who regularly check the blog and contribute reviews.
2. Some people have already created Blogger accounts for this year's and last year's Summer Reading Clubs, so it would be much easier to stick with Blogger. It also allows more privacy for club members.
3. Certainly not. There is the issue of transportation - it would be difficult to decide on a meeting place convenient for everyone, and even then, meetings would have to be quite frequent to properly conduct the club.
4. I agree with Mina, the Summer Reading Club is just fine.
5. I'd like programs for teens (instead of just children and teenagers 15 and under) regarding computer programming. Computers are becoming an ever-prominent part of modern life and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people signed up for the program.
Hi, Mina:
1. I agree with you about more bloggers. I will keep this in mind for next summer's contests.
2. Good to know.
3. Excellent points. Not everyone has a ride or can get to the library, easily.
4. Thanks for the information.
If you have any other ideas at any time, please let Lana know and she can share them with the group.
thanks.

Hi, Waterfall:
1. there were double the users who did not click on to blog. I emailed them a couple of times to see if they had problems. This was just not for them.
2. Good to know about sticking with blog.
3. Great to know.
4. That is fine.
5. What kind of classes are you looking for because I can suggest them to the lady who runs our classes? I could see about getting different ones taught.
Catherine
Thanks Mina and Waterfall for your answers.
I will wait to see if I get any others.
